Will
hands out water at a rest stop. Will really enjoys working with his
Team in Training runners. Here he is handing out water and Gatorade to
runners at a rest stop. The marathon team's practice runs are now up to
19 miles. They say that raising money is harder than running these long
distances. If you would look at these people, you would see that the don't
look that different from the rest of us. Just about anyone can find level
of activity to perform in for Team in Training.
Student
of the Month! Will was chosen Student of the Month for his kindergarten
class at Valle Vista in San Jose. He received the spirit award for being
a friend to all the students.
Will
with his teachers (June 1996) Will poses with his pre-school teachers
and girlfriend Alexa at his graduation from East Hills Pre-School. We always
thought this school was an amazing place for our sons, but the teachers
and the students were extra good to Will over the last year. When Will
was puffed up and bald from the treatment last year, the kids there were
completely accepting of him. When he was in isolation, they continued to
include him in role call. They kept Will's cubby waiting for him and told
the kids that he would be back soon.
